TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Tim 3:15.
Kona children are completely abandoned and made destitute. Many of them roam around bushes daily, looking for what to eat to sustain themselves, till night when their mothers would have trekked long distances to the town to sell firewood for a very meagre amount. This they now use to purchase foodstuffs for the day’s meal. Kona annual initiation ritual, no longer spares even little children and once a child survives and returns from the ritual, he becomes like a wild animal. He no longer regards his parents especially his mother, and his alcoholic consumption level, triples, hence the Trinity Christian Academy (TRICA) vision, which is; 1. To cut the children away from idolatry. 2. To make them positive challenge to their parents, 3. To give them equal educational opportunity just like every other child in the world, Trinity Christian Academy (TRICA) is the school arm of the ministry which provides quality education for the Orphans and Vulnerable Children from over twenty-five villages within and outside Taraba state. The school kicked-started on the 20th of October, 2007 with just five (5) pupils, and late Pst Joshua Adah and Pst Mrs Joshua Adah were the Proprietors as well as the pioneer teachers. TRICA is registered with the Ministry of Education, Taraba state and presently has about 250 pupils/students in 14 classes (Nursery 1 to SS 3) with full boarding facility (this makes intentional discipleship possible, owing to the three main visions of the school, aforementioned). This we have been doing for 17 years free of charge. Every school materials including school uniforms and boarding wears are equally provided for them. The vision is to have them continue to the university; still without pay.The school has graduated six sets of her Senior Secondary school students. some among these Five set of the ex-students have gotten admission into higher institutions, Praise the Lord! We are currently believing God for more admissions for them into higher institutions. The Sixth set, are about to write WASSCE and NECO examination. We trust God for good results, favour and sponsors as regards their further education. We hope to continue this, as God brings help our way.Upcoming Events

Students are assigned to one teacher as their main advisor, but all THINK teachers provide individualized academic support as well as the general supervision and mentoring necessary to smooth the occasional turbulence that accompanies adolescence and world education.
We provide nutritious food to our students so they can perform their best in the classroom. Dining with teachers and classmates creates the convivial social atmosphere of a home away from home. We also believe cuisine is an integral part of learning and understanding a culture. Students are exposed to a variety of food experiences during their time in the school, and periodically take cooking lessons that give them a chance to experiment hands-on with local ingredients and flavors.
We welcome parent/guardian or other family member to visit the school upon request, to rejoice with the children to see the transformation taking place in the lives of the children. all visitors continue to express their astonishment on the rate at wish this children are transform all round, owing to the kind of environment/background they came from.
