GOEDM PROGRESS REPORT (JULY – SEPTEMBER, 2023)

INTRODUCTION

We are eternally grateful to God for the rare opportunity of calling us into this great assignment. It is so awesome, seeing feeble men commissioned for eternal purpose. Without doubt, God has been the one doing the work. What God has been doing through this ministry, is so tremendous that we often find it difficult to believe that we are involved; glorious treasure in heathen vessels. All glory to Jesus.

TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

The ministry continues to reach out to the unreached communities and families by providing quality education for the rural less-privileged children, through her school arm, Trinity Christian Academy (TRICA). The school started in 2007 and has since then been strategically discipling the young generation for Jesus. The school has also contributed to the access that the ministry now have to the Kona people group. Trinity Christian Academy presently has Three Hundred and Sixty-Six (366) pupils/students from Nursery 1 to SS3 who are enjoying free education, with full boarding facility. Twenty of the ex-students are presently in the tertiary institution who are still enjoying over 50% scholarship. We invite you to be part of this project of strategic evangelism and discipleship.

CHURCH PLANTING

The converts in the various villages where we work as a ministry are doing well in Christ. We were able to conduct water baptism for thirty-seven (37) of them in the month of July. Their testimonies have been amazing, following the water baptism. TRICA pupils/students were not left out in the water baptism. Sixty (60) of them were baptized also. God is really working in their lives in a way that is beyond our imaginations. We are really encouraged.

PROJECTS

Since the attack on our mission base in July, 2019, most of our fellowship centres have been out of shape. It is really a challenge, worshipping in them, especially during raining season. We thank God for helping us to raise a temporary place of worship at Jokoro village. Our appreciation to all the donors. We earnestly believing God for permanent buildings for worship in all these villages.

PARTNERSHIP

God is doing a great work, so amazing that our words are not sufficient for expression. We appreciate greatly, everyone who has been part of our success story. It is with such partnership with God in His mission, that can guarantee the strategic evangelization of the nations. We invite you to consider partnering with us in this great assignment.

UPCOMING EVENT – JESUS LOVE @ CHRISTMAS

Jesus Love @ Christmas is an annual outreach usually slated for 24th and 25th of December. It is an avenue to practically express the love of Christ in the season of celebration, especially to those who do not have anyone to share or celebrate with them. During this outreach, gift items such as Bibles, food items, wears, toiletries, drinks, sewing machines, etc. are shared indiscriminately at the correctional centres, hospitals and rural communities. We invite you to be part of 2023 edition. Your gift will go a long way in bringing the love of Jesus practically to the unreached peoples.

CONCLUSION

The call of the God of mission, is to everyone of His sons and daughters. Today, He is still asking, “who shall I send, who will go for?” Peter’s boat was available and he didn’t pretend about it. He yielded his boat for the mission of the Master, the mission was accomplished and Peter was blessed. We encourage you to be part of what God is doing in God’s Own Evangelistic Discipleship Ministry, so that our Master, the Lord of the harvest may accomplish His mission and you will be blessed.

God bless you.
