GOEDM PROGRESS REPORT (April - June, 2023)

INTRODUCTION

The almighty God has not stopped His work among the Kona people of Taraba state. His blessing is still spreading among the people until all have heard. We thank the Lord for making us the channel of His blessing to His people.

WEEK OF MISSIONS 2023

This annual outreach was a great success. It was bigger and better than the previous years’ experience. The theme for this year’s edition was PUT IN THE SICKLE. Participants were challenged to use whatever in their disposal for this final harvest. Many of the participants indicated their interest for mission involvement. The week concluded with a 2-day Operation Caleb outreach to Jauro Saubai village, where the natives enjoyed free medical treatment, wears, toiletries and other domestic services. A number of them gave their lives to Jesus.

Mission Mobilization

TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

We thank the Lord for bringing all the pupils/students back to school after the second term vacation. God has continued to provide for the upkeep of these less-privileged through His sons and daughters. Discipleship of these children still remains our priority and God is transforming their lives. More of our students are gaining admission into the university. About twenty of them are now in the tertiary institutions and enjoying over 50% scholarship

STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING

Two of our missionaries enrolled for a degree programme in Theology. This is in a bid to acquire more knowledge that is considered necessary for effective mission involvement. Also, Sis. Hannah Azeez is at the final stage of her Master’s programme in Education. We pray for God’s blessing on these efforts. .

CONVERTS

God graciously moved the converts in Jokoro to give us a parcel of land to build a place of worship. We are now believing God for fund, to raise a structure for worship, especially now that raining is becoming more frequent. We will be conducting water baptism for many of our converts in five villages in the first and second week of July, 2023. Please pray along with us

It is our earnest prayer that you will not be tired but do more for the Lord in this Great Commission. May the Lord of the Harvest continue to increase you on all sides

God bless you.
